  1. This shows that even the appointed leaders of the House of Lords had failed to provide a good example of privilege and responsibility. They are demotivated to work and use attendance in order to gain money, the loophole in a 300 pound claim system. They went even further by committing frauds and deceving to get more money and what is more ridicilous is that they still make excuses.
TO a certain extent this is the fault of the government as it doesn't try to improve the HoL anyhow and just leave it as it is even though these very people who sit there decide the laws and bills and can make a huge difference in the future of the country but this article is a clear evidence indicating the fact that HoL are not as efficient as they seemed to be even though there is evidence for their success but this is going over the line. This is the democracy and its most potential downside- the corruption of power and money. Let's see if anyone else will suggest electing and not appointing HoL in the future, if the corruption had managed to reach one of the most priviliged positions( appointed specialists) such as HoL, how will it affect elected people?
